Synopsis

A former delinquent, Segawa Kiichi (TAKAHIRO), happens to encounter a lonely 10-year-old girl, Hikari (Sakurada Hiyori), who looks like she is going to be killed by a gangster. He saves her by reflex, but does not get an answer when he asks what is going on. Because of that, he is mysteriously attacked time and again. With his own life in sudden danger, he calls on six friends (Aoyagi Sho, Iwata Takanori, Sato Taiki, Nogae Shuhei, Yagi Masayasu, Kuroki Keiji) from his high school days as a delinquent. These enthusiastic, single-minded men band together to protect her to the end.

Synopsis: A guksu western. Three Korean gunslingers are in Manchuria circa World War II: Do-wan, an upright bounty hunter, Chang-yi, a thin-skinned and ruthless killer, and Tae-goo, a train robber with nine lives. Tae-goo finds a map he's convinced leads to buried treasure; Chang-yi wants it as well for less clear reasons. Do-wan tracks the map knowing it will bring him to Chang-yi, Tae-goo, and reward money. Occupying Japanese forces and their Manchurian collaborators also want the map, as does the Ghost Market Gang who hangs out at a thieves' bazaar. These enemies cross paths frequently and dead bodies pile up. Will anyone find the map's destination and survive to tell the tale?

1608 (Keichou 13) was the year Tokugawa Ieyasu won the Battle of Sekigahara. Under Ieyasu’s reign the Uesugis had their vast 1,200,000 koku holdings in Aizu drastically curtailed to 300,000 koku in Yonezawa, Dewa Province. Many vassals give up on the future and leave the Uesugis. In the midst of this, Maeda Keiji continues to remain in Yonezawa and chooses to live with people trying to cope with difficult times. Over 60, he lives in a shabby, secluded hut and contemplates the “right time”. On the other hand, his son, Shinkuro, objects to him being fond of drinking and absorbed in cultural pursuits such as poetry, painting and calligraphy, and nothing like the brave general he is famed to be with the rumours of the Tokugawa plotting the demise of the Uesugis. However, Keiji “performs” when it comes to the crunch. Although he has considered retirement, he is willing to sacrifice himself in order to protect the Uesugis. Shinkuro is gradually fascinated by his magnanimity and his way of life. Keiji is in no hurry to hand over the reins of the family to Shinkuro. Furthermore, Keiji’s daughter, Sano, comes from the Maedas of Kaga to bring her father back and both Shinkuro and Sano are shocked to learn of the existence of a sibling for the first time. In the midst of this, Kitagawa Jiemon a wandering samurai who once fought with Keiji, challenges him to a duel.

Plot:
Mitsuko (Riisa Naka) is a young woman who believes everything will be okay and always tries to help those around her. One day, she met an American man and wanted to help him. They became involved in a relationship and she moved with him to California. A little later, her boyfriend left her and Mitsuko returned to Japan alone. Her parents, who run a pachinko parlor, still think Mitsuko is living happily in California.
Now, Mitsuko is nine-months pregnant, unmarried and almost broke. She has to move out of her apartment. Yet, Mitsuko still believes everything will be okay. Mitsuko doesn't know where she will go, but she lays downs on a bench and watches where the wind blows. Mitsuko then knows where she will go. She'll visit an elderly woman who was her parents' landlord many years ago. Mitsuko will also see again the boy (Aoi Nakamura) that held a life-long crush on her.

Synopsis

Plot:
"Keizoku," unfolds in the present, beginning in the dimly lit basement office of the Metropolitan Police Office's Criminal Investigations Section One, which is charged with pursuing "pending" (keizoku) investigations -- i.e., cases that everyone else has given up on.

The section chief, Nonomura (Raita Ryu), is a horny old goat who is willing to give all of his lump-sum retirement allowance to his termagant of a wife so he can marry his loose-socked under-age sweetie.

Nonomura's dreams of erotic bliss are shattered, however, when his superiors decide to replace him, 10 days before his retirement, with a woman half his age named Jun Shibata (Miki Nakatani), who may have a Todai degree and a genius IQ, but is a ditz and a klutz with no street smarts or fashion sense. As if this weren't insult enough, his superiors lower his retirement allowance -- and his wife won't accept a discount.

Nonomura and his problems suddenly drop off the screen, however, with the appearance of an ethereal young woman called Nanami Kirishima (Koyuki). Nanami is anxious to solve the mystery surrounding the deaths of her mother and her father, a wealthy developer, who perished in a shipwreck 15 years ago.

At the time the police suspected that one or more of the seven survivors might have had a hand in it, but lacked proof -- and so put the cases in their "pending" file. Now Nanami has invited the survivors to a reunion on the tiny island she calls home and, conveniently, they have all accepted. Won't the police help her narrow the list of suspects and nail the perpetrator(s)? Shibata and Mayama (Atsuro Watabe), a tough, short-fused cop who has less than the highest respect for his new boss, agree to go along on this unconventional ride.

The suspects, among whom are a snarling yakuza, a fat, drunken architect and a crass middle-aged female tarento, are cardboard cut-outs that would fit comfortably into a Clue game, while Nanami's island, with its pseudo-Gothic castle and its various colorful legends, are lifted from the more lurid horror manga.

Synopsis

Synopsis
Ieji Hisashi, a salaryman who works for a securities company, has a fuzzy memory of the recent five years because of an accident at his job posting.
