Birth name: Kwon Ji Young (권지용)
Date of Birth: August 18, 1988 [age 22]
G-Dragon is the leader of Big Bang. He has been trained by YG Entertainment since the age of twelve, often at the side of fellow member Tae yang. He often composes the group's material, such as "Lies", "Last Farewell", etc. He is now working closely with producing the music of one of the newest girl groups with Teddy, from YG Entertainment, 2NE1. His first full solo album, Heartbreaker, was released on August 18, 2009, which is also his birthday, also released other songs of his album(Heart Breaker). As a child, he was in a group of Mini Roo'ra as a kids version of the original Roo'ra group.

Birth name: Choi Seung Hyun (최승현)
Date of Birth: November 4, 1987 [age 22]
Prior to his involvement with YG Entertainment, Choi was an underground rapper and a childhood friend of G-Dragon, another member of Big Bang. Choosing the stage name of T.O.P. (Korean: 탑), he became one of the two rappers in the group Big Bang, alongside G-Dragon. he has branched out to act in various dramas and films, including I Am Sam, Iris and 71: Into the Fire.

Tae Yang
Birth name: Dong Young Bae (동영배)
Date of Birth: May 18, 1988 [age 22]
Taeyang's first appearance in the entertainment industry was in the hip-hop group Jinusean's music video "A-yo". The collaboration eventually lead him to successfully auditioning into the group's record label YG Entertainment, where he became one of the rappers alongside fellow trainee G-Dragon. The two were later coined as GDYB. In 2003, Dong provided the rap verse in singer Wheesung's single "Player" on the latter's second album.

Dae Sung
Birth name: Kang Dae Sung (강대성)
Date of Birth: April 26, 1989 [age 21]
Although his parents were against the idea of him becoming a singer, Daesung pursued a career as a singer and was eventually recruited by YG Entertainment after auditioning. He later appeared on a documentary show following the potential members of what eventually became Big Bang. Since his debut, he has released solo singles, performed in musicals, and became a member of reality-variety series Family Outing.

Seung Ri
Birth name: Lee Seung Hyun (이승현)
Date of Birth: December 12, 1990 [age 19]
Before joining the group, he was a member of a dance team in Gwangju. He first appeared on television on the reality television series Let's Cokeplay: M.Net Battle Shinhwa, a show in which Shinhwa attempted to create a boy band that could be a "second Shinhwa". Although he was noticed for his dance skills, his lack of vocal skills led to him being eliminated. He was later scouted by the record label YG Entertainment and joined the group Big Bang. Although he was initially cut on the ninth episode of the group's documentary series, he was given another chance to impress YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk and succeeded
