Plot Summary:
The first Asian film shot entirely in 3D, "Don Quixote", has released a series of stills, depicting some impressive magical scenes, Sina.com.cn reports.
Images of the main character Don Quixote are also revealed in the stills.
According to the film's director, A Gan, nearly 60 percent of the film is made up of special effects, but China simply does not have technology advanced enough to deal with these shots. Aiming to make a truly domestic 3D film, A Gan tried several special effects companies before eventually taking his film to England, where he was able to use the equipment and technology from the hit film "Ice Age".
