"Doddodo is a female solo artist from Osaka, Japan. Using only a single cheap sampler she manages to create music filled with an impact and exhilaration absent in more complex, overproduced music. Her speedy, chopped up rhythms are reminiscent of Digital Hardcore but, somewhere along the line a mish-mash of sounds from sources such as anime or traditional music are thrown in the mix, along with healthy dollops of offbeat humor. And thus, a new sound is born.
