it actually took me most of my life's time to finally get to watch Maya in its original language!
yeah, it sucks that there are no subs but it's enough to pull you back into your childhood just watching the video.
i basically know Maya by heart as it's somehow an integral part of German culture.
actually, most of my childhood animated tv series, like this one were made in Japan, something i didn't know until i hit my teens. the fact of which highly drove me to my love for those pre-1950 animes. i guess because, for some reason, Japanese animation belongs to the most influental worldwide.
the first japanese production featured 55 episodes ... four of which are in vol. one if i remember correctly.
i would really, really, very much love to have this series complete!!!
