Summary
Fifteen years after Ishida Mitsunari lost in the battle of Sekigahara, Tokugawa Ieyasu foresees the unavoidable battle with Toyotomi Hideyori and goes to Fushimi Castle. That same night, Hattori Hanzo, the leader of the 36 Iga ninja who are working as guards for the castle, perceives the existence of a ninja and captures the intruder. Unexpectedly, the ninja turns out to be a woman, and Hanzo rapes her. Years later, a magician pair of mother and child appear in a busy area of Edo. The mother is the woman ninja (who is actually the daughter of Mitsunari). This pair of mother and son ninjas have been waiting for the chance to take their revenge. They soon learn that the opportunity has arrived upon hearing that the Shogun will hold a martial arts tournament at the mansion of one of his direct retainers. One of the best old-school ninja movies!
