Synopsis :
The story follows Rikuo Nura, who is part human and quarter yokai (demon). He lives with his demon grandfather in a house full of spirits. His grandfather, Nurarihyon, is head of the demons and he wants Rikuo to succeed him as the new head of the house. Rikuo is initially unreceptive of the idea and tries his best to escape his fate by doing good deeds and not acting like a demon, but he eventually comes to terms with his fate and decides to take up the position of the young head of the Nura house. This however is not easy, as multiple factions aim to stop his ascension.
