Synopsis
The story follows through Ip Man's life in his younger days. After the death of his kung fu master Chan Wah Shun in Foshan, Ip Man left to study in Hong Kong. Here, he learns different theories of Wing Chun from Leung Pik which helped to have great improvements. When he returned to Foshan, Ip Man falls in love with the deputy mayor's daughter but is objected by her father. Meanwhile, Ip Man's Wing Chun style is also said to have deviated from its traditional form. How could he face all these challenges and become one of the most respected kung fu masters of all time?
