The story is based on a real story. Set in Shikoku chuo city in Ehime prefecture which is the largest production of paper in Japan. Recently the city is languishing because of economic slowdown. To revitalize the city, a high school girl Satoko leads her school calligraphy club to the Shodo Performance Contest, a performance calligraphy event involving teams drawing on large paper while performing to music
