On August 20th, MBC hosted the ‘2011 K-POP All Star Live in Niigata‘ concert in Japan for their 50th anniversary, which boasted a brilliant line-up of the top K-Pop artists in the industry.

The concert was hosted by SNSD’s Sooyoung, Tiffany and Yuri, as 12 K-Pop groups - TEEN TOP, INFINITE, SISTAR, SECRET, KARA, CNBLUE, 2PM, 2AM, SNSD, B2ST, 4minute, and Norazo – performed to a wild crowd of Hallyu fans who got to see not only their favorite idols, but some special stages as well.

Plot:

Synopsis:
Sheng Xin Ren is a 25 years old low-level staff in sales department of Jing Shi Department Store and has worked nearly 4 years. Her goal is to buy a house in Taipei so that her mother will be able to come and live with her. She is saving every penny of her salary in order to reach that goal.

Qin Zi Qi, 28, is the only son of a wealthy family who just got his MBA degree from the USA and returns to Taiwan. His father, Qin Mu Bai; is the chairman of Jing Shi Department Store, and his mother is pampering him. The unique conditions has created Zi Qi personality which acts in his own way and overweening.

Zi Qi initially thought after his study, he will immediately become a successor of his father's company and will be given the right to operate the whole department store. However, that's not the case. Mu Bai tells Zi Qi if he wants to take over the company, he must passes the test to work his way up in the sales department for 1 year, and obey the 5 rules:
1.Cannot expose the identity
2.Cannot be demerit or expelled
3.Not allow to use money from home
4.Performance grading cannot be lower than excellent
5.Cannot disclose this agreement

If he breaches any of the rules, he better prepare to find another job!

As a result, Zi Qi comes to Jing Shi Department Store as an assistant in the sales department. In these 365 days, not only he receive low salary, but also has to accept the deployment of other staffs. He can no longer mix around with his rich friends, cannot ride in an expensive car, cannot buy branded items, cannot afford fine dining in the restaurant, and has to endure the crowded public transportation everyday. His colleagues regard him as odd job labor, and often look down on him, verbally satire, but do not know his real prominent identity.

At first, Zi Qi disagrees with Xin Ren who is responsible to bring him on the job, and despises her “Office Survival Guide” theory, but the “Grassroots Life Saving Theory” has managed to save him a few times. Gradually, Zi Qi starts to adapt to normal people’s lives, and after solving several major things in cooperation with Xin Ren, he also start to like the department he is in.

Synopsis:

He has said he will release the audio CDs, so we will all have to wait for it.

The subs were based off of an .ass file released by NoGrp, which was based on the wiki entry on Bleach wiki. However, I have used my own knowledge to make several corrections. While not perfect, I'd say it's about 90% accurate. Hope you enjoy.

Synopsis

Lee Yeon-Jae (Kim Sun-A) works at travel agency Line Tour as an under appreciated assistant. She's often tasked to do menial jobs by her boss, but she never refuses out of fear of being fired. Lee Yeon-Jae supports her mother and without her job believes she will not be able to get married. One day, because of a car accident, Lee Yeon-Jae goes to the hospital. There she meets Dr. Chae Eun-Suk (Uhm Ki-Joon). As children, Yeon-Jae and Eun-Suk were friends, but Eun-Suk now acts as if he does not know her. Dr. Eun-Suk informs Yeon-Jae that she has a tumor and needs another examination. Yeon-Jae goes back to the company and asks for a day off to get the medical examination. Instead of getting the day off, Yeon-Jae is assigned to be a guide for high profile client Andy Wilson. Kang Ji-Wook (Lee Dong-Wook) is the only son of Line Tour's company president. He is good looking, physically fit, rich and the successor to the company, but he isn't excited by anything. His father planned his marriage to Im Se-Kyung (Seo Hyo-Rim), the daughter of conglomerate Seo-Jin. Im Se-Kyung is beautiful, but highly arrogant. Overview:

A shy entomologist (Eiji Okada) comes to work at a Japanese coastal town. The villagers offer him both shelter and female companionship. He is lowered into a sand pit, where he is introduced to a woman (Kyoko Kishida). The following morning, he discovers that the villagers have left him trapped in the dune with the woman. Later that day, he is informed that the woman has been forced to shovel sand from the pit, in search of a water supply that will service the entire village; whenever she stops shovelling, she is denied food. Slowly, he becomes accustomed to his strange new surroundings. He makes love to the woman, who becomes pregnant with his child. Though she is resigned to remaining in the pit, he attempts to escape, only to be recaptured and returned to his "home." After a second escape, he changes his mind about leaving, determined to find that elusive water supply on behalf of the woman and his new neighbors. Kobo Abe adapted this classic existential fable from his own novel.

Synopsis

:

"Scent of a Woman" is a romantic-comedy that depicts the life of a 30'ish woman who works as a low-level clerk. She works hard, but lives her life without much joy. She then learns that she is dying. The woman decides to travel aboard to find happiness...
Lee Yeon-Jae (Kim Sun-A) works at travel agency Line Tour as an under appreciated assistant. She's often tasked to do menial jobs by her boss, but she never refuses out of fear of being fired. Lee Yeon-Jae supports her mother and without her job believes she will not be able to get married. One day, because of a car accident, Lee Yeon-Jae goes to the hospital. There she meets Dr. Chae Eun-Suk (Uhm Ki-Joon). As children, Yeon-Jae and Eun-Suk were friends, but Eun-Suk now acts as if he does not know her. Dr. Eun-Suk informs Yeon-Jae that she has a tumor and needs another examination. Yeon-Jae goes back to the company and asks for a day off to get the medical examination. Instead of getting the day off, Yeon-Jae is assigned to be a guide for high profile client Andy Wilson. Kang Ji-Wook (Lee Dong-Wook) is the only son of Line Tour's company president. He is good looking, physically fit, rich and the successor to the company, but he isn't excited by anything. His father planned his marriage to Im Se-Kyung (Seo Hyo-Rim), the daughter of conglomerate Seo-Jin. Im Se-Kyung is beautiful, but highly arrogant. She's the one who arranged for musician Andy Wilson's one day tour.

Kim Ki-duk (Hangul: 김기덕; born December 20, 1960) is a South Korean filmmaker noted for his idiosyncratic "art-house" cinematic works. His films have received many distinctions in the festival circuit. He is not related to the Kim Ki-duk who directed Yonggary in the 1960s. He has given scripts to several of his former assistant directors including Jeon Jae-hong (Beautiful) and Jang Hun (Rough Cut).

Controversy

The British Board of Film Classification delayed the release of Kim Ki-duk's The Isle (2000) in the United Kingdom because of instances of animal cruelty in the film. Concerning scenes in which a frog is skinned alive and fish are mutilated, the director stated, "We cooked all the fish we used in the film and ate them, expressing our appreciation. I've done a lot of cruelty on animals in my films. And I will have a guilty conscience for the rest of my life."
To a U.S. interviewer who suggested that scenes such as these are "very disturbing and [seem] to place an obstacle to the films [sic] reception, or... distribution, to other countries", Kim said, "Yes, I did worry about that fact. But the way I see it, the food that we eat today is no different. In America you eat beef, pork, and kill all these animals. And the people who eat these animals are not concerned with their slaughter. Animals are part of this cycle of consumption. It looks more cruel onscreen, but I don't see the difference. And yes, there's a cultural difference, and maybe Americans will have a problem with it - but if they can just be more sensitive to what is acceptable in different countries I'd hope they wouldn't have too many issues with what's shown on-screen."
