PLOT:

Awarded radio personality George Harrison Apostol, known as DJ Heidee to her listeners(Sarah Geronimo), provides love advice to people who are having problems in their relationships. DJ Heidee receives a call from a girl named Melissa (Megan Young) who is asking advice on how to break up with her boyfriend Andrew (Gerald Anderson). Unfortunately, Andrew is listening to the same program and hears Heidee telling Melissa how they should break up. Andrew blames Heidee for what happened and even threatens to sue her for giving that particular advice. In order to prevent a legal battle, and to ease her conscience, Heidee decides to help Andrew win Melissa back. In the process of getting the two together, Andrew and Melissa begin to feel an attraction toward each other. Will they be able to overcome their past and become lovers instead?

Plot / Synopsis

I've cut parts of the left and right of the picture in order to get full screen 16:9. I deliberately cut a bit less of the picture, so the aspect will be slightly scewed. (people may look a bit thinner/stretched).
I first cropped and resized with NNEDI3 then used Neat Video denoiser to denoise the 1280x720. My experience has shown that you get better quality and sharper video if you denoise after resize than before. The drawback is that it takes a lot longer to process a big size video than smaller size.
Resize & denoise using VirtualDub output to 64 GB temporary avi file using huffyuv took about 10 hours. (4 fps)
I then used LimitedSharpenFaster in avisynth before sending to MeGUI to encode to x264, first pass took about 1 hour (35fps) and second pass 2 hours (16fps).

It's such a shame that they didn't include English subs on the DVD for a movie which has won awards like this.
WTF is the point of including Thai subs!!?? Unless they're for hearing impaired, they're pretty much useless!

ALL Thai movies has English subs in the cinemas, so I don't really understand why they don't have it mandatory to include it on the DVDs.

Plot/Synopsis:
Set in the 1960s, Joe Yabuki (Tomohisa Yamashita) lives in a run-down low income ara. There, alcholic ex-boxer Danpei Tange (Teruyuki Kagawa) notices Joe Yabuki’s talents as a boxer. But then, Joe gets into trouble and is sentenced into the youth detention center. In the youth detention center, Joe gets into a brawl and then is knocked out by Toru Rikiishi (Yusuke Iseya) who is a champion caliber professional boxer.
While incarcerated, Joe gets special training from Danpei Tange through letters. Upon Joe’s release, he quickly becomes an elite boxer and famous for a devastating cross counter. Meanwhile, Toru Rikiishi is also released from prison and quickly resumes his boxing career. Toru finally gets his shot at the world championship belt, but before that, Toru wants a match with Joe Yabuki. The two men enter the ring.

Introduction
This training camp won't be that simple.

Story
The competition is fierce for the middle schoolers in the National Tennis Competition. 50 representatives are chosen from them, and this time they'll challenge high schoolers!!

This time the stage is U-17 (Under 17), a training camp that gathers Japan's middle school representatives together to raise them into top tennis players. Led by the winners of the national competition, Seishun Gakuen, Hyotei, Rikkai, and Shitenhoji, gathered together. With all of their rivals from the national tournament, fighting spirits are high as they set out to face each other again.

At first these middle schoolers show no difficulty in facing the high schoolers. But this training camp won't be that simple.

Before them stood athletes better than any they had ever faced before, together with a mysterious coach. Will the middle schoolers be able to survive as they're driven to the edge by rigorous trials in this training camp where ability means everything?

A new chapter of "Prince of Tennis" starts here! Let the curtain rise on a new stage.

I did try merging this file with the original Japanese dub but sadly it seems that the UK file is four minutes shorter (this dub is 1hr 30 mins whilst the Japanese dub is 1hr 34 mins), I got it perfect at the beginning but then it went seriously out of sync so I’m guessing some scenes are missing. Synopsis

Synopsis
